Wellington House, 125 Strand, which forms part of the Queen's personal estate was constructed in 1925 and significantly modified in the 1970s. Located on a major junction of the Strand the building has been completely refurbished by the Chorus Group Plc.

The main works included the construction and redevelopment of the 7th floor to create new level and terrace. Existing full height core walls were demolished, new stair cores installed including a new fire exit staircase, new lifts and shafts. The ground floor and reception were refurbished along with a basement upgrade as well as restoring the existing Portland stone façade including windows.
