STEM bracket + Walnut Handrail

COMPONENTS

Uprights are the main load bearing element of a modular balustrade. Infill panels and handrail brackets are mechanically attached to this key structural component. There are four signature upright designs: TUBE, GRID, CUBE and EDGE, plus VIEU, a structural glass option.

The distinctive post profiles are designed to suit a range of modern architectural solutions and they can be supplied in a variety of finishes, from brushed stainless steel to a wide RAL range of NyMet and polyester powder coated colours including options in PVD.

Though some of the smallest components in the icon modular handrail system, brackets and general fixings play a vital role, not only in supporting handrail but in joining infill panels or midrails to uprights.

icon handrail brackets come in three principal design styles; STEM, FIN, and BEND, all highly functional whilst offering visually appealing solutions.

1G Fin Bracket

The diameter of icon system handrails are 45mm for NODE fittings and 50mm for Standard handrail, both sizes affording a comfortable, secure grip for most hand sizes. Available in a range of materials and finishes, including our popular LedLit handrail with functional integral LED illumination, ideal in environments where discreet illumination is desirable for either aesthetic or safety reasons. From radially brushed stainless steel to prime hardwoods such as Walnut, Oak, Ash, Maple or Cherry, through to durable and functional NyMet® or polyester powder coatings, icon handrails add a distinctive tactile and visual accent to staircases and walkways in all architectural settings.

Infills come in a wide variety of designs, configurations and finishes. They play a major role in the overall visual style of a balustrade.

From classic mid-rails and tension wires, to fashionable solid steel,

laser-cut steel and perforated steel panels, to sleek toughened glass or

our latest Rain vertical rod infill design, there is an infill format to suit almost any contemporary environment.

Combined with the multitude of available finishes and colours, the possibilities are limited only by the imagination.
